Where Our Story Begins
Jeni's House was never meant to be just a counseling practice or event space.

It was built on the belief that healing happens when people feel safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for.
​
The name Jeni's House honors Jen Braman's beloved grandmother, Jennie, whose home was a gathering place for family, friends, and neighbors. Jennie had a gift for making people feel seen. She welcomed others with open arms, offered a listening ear, and extended kindness without judgement.

Years later, Jen carried those same values into her work as a therapist, community leader, and founder.

Together, their stories became the foundation of Jeni's House.
The Legacy of Jennie
Long before Jeni's House existed, there was simply Jennie.

She believed everyone deserved a place at the table. Her home was filled with conversation, connection, laughter, and love. She showed those around her what it meant to care deeply for others and to offer support without expecting anything in return.
The Vision of Jen
Jen Braman dedicated her life to helping others heal and grow.
She dreamed of creating a space where mental health support felt approachable and where community members could gather for connection, wellness, creativity, and belonging.
That dream became Jeni’s House.
Jen believed every person possesses inherent strengths and the capacity for growth. Her approach was rooted in empathy, acceptance, and genuine human connection. She worked tirelessly to create opportunities for healing through counseling, support groups, wellness events, community programs, and acts of kindness.
Through Jeni’s House, Hearts United, and the countless lives she touched, her impact continues to ripple throughout our community.
Today, the spirit of Jen lives on in every corner of this house.
In every person who walks through our doors.
In every moment someone feels welcomed, accepted, and understood.
And in every act of kindness, connection, and healing that takes place within these walls.
