Jenn Young |MA, LPC, ATR-BC | Therapist & Art Therapist | Specializes in Art Therapy, Psychotherapy, and EMDR Healing | Youth and Adults | Life Transitions, Trauma Work, Identity Excavating

Jenn is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist who helps clients reconnect with their inner strength and creativity. Her trauma‑informed,

client‑centered approach supports individuals navigating life transitions and healing

from complex trauma with compassion and authenticity.

 

Jenn earned a Master of Arts degree with a dual concentration on Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling (MA) from Edinboro PennWest University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a Visual Arts minor from California State University San Marcos. Jenn has completed post-graduate specialty training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

Jenn is a dedicated mental health professional whose practice is grounded in a strength-based, relational philosophy. She honors the unique experiences and inherent resilience of every individual, fostering an environment where healing and personal growth can flourish. Jenn is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive space specifically tailored to the needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

 

Jenn believes that every individual possesses an innate capacity for transformation. Her mission is to guide clients toward greater self-compassion, personal acceptance, and the motivation necessary to lead a fulfilling life. Through a collaborative and empathetic partnership, Jenn supports clients in building the tools they need to thrive.

 

Jenn proudly provides affirming and inclusive care for Queer and Trans individuals and communities. She is deeply committed to creating a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where all clients feel seen, respected, and valued on their healing journey.
